Watch how much better than the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered looks and sounds

The moment of truth; how does Modern Warfare Remastered stack up to the original Xbox 360 release?

Now that many are starting to play the single-player campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, we're starting to see comparisons made between the graphically enhanced PS4 version and the 2007 Xbox 360 original.

One such comparison was done by Eurogamer, and it shows off all the new improvements in lighting, texture detail, and even some of the new physics.

The opening bit, although very limited in what it shows, has seen massive improvements, too, including entirely new objects that really help with the immersion. There's also a new training section added to the opening level, including new dialogue.

The video then takes to the first actual mission on the tanker and through the one where your character gets shot. The spoken Arabic dialogue now more accurately represents the English subtitle, a bonus if these things bug you. The video often shows scenes side-by-side, and switches the audio track between them, and you can really hear richer sound effects.
