NieR: Automata's latest trailer is very character-focused

The new trailer for NieR: Automata, fresh from the Tokyo Game Show, focuses on characters over action.

This trailer shows off numerous character designs, including a few that we hadn't seen before. Unfortunately, there's no gameplay footage here, with all the in-game shots seemingly coming from cutscenes.

The game's official website has also been updated, albeit in Japanese (although you can enjoy the game's soundtrack on there). Thankfully, Gematsu has posted a full translation of all the character information, so head on over there for further details.

NieR: Automata is being developed by Platinum Games, and will release on PS4 and PC in Japan on February 23, 2017. It should also release internationally next year, although a date has not been announced.
