Find a 4K display to watch this stunning Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay trailer

Horizon: Zero Dawn is one of Sony's PS4 Pro showpieces, and excuse me but yes.

Horizon: Zero Dawn has always looked gorgeous but someone at Guerrilla Games had the bright idea of putting together a new demo for the PlayStation Meeting this week and now it looks flat-out spectacular.

This gameplay demo shows how Horizon: Zero Dawn will look running at 4K on a PS4 Pro, and while I'm no graphics snob I must admit to opening a new tab and getting halfway through typing "how much is a 4K TV" before closing it and burning my credit card. Luckily, the PS4's new HDR support probably means it'll look pretty good even on your existing HD displays.

Of course, it's not just that it's very pretty, it's that she's riding around on a robo-saur. There's only one way Sony could sell me any harder on Horizon: Zero Dawn at this point, and that is by confirming there's a sit emote. I want to plonk myself down on that robo-saur's head and watch the landscape go by, all day.

Horizon: Zero Dawn releases in February 2017, giving you plenty of time to mull over picking up a PS4 Pro after its November launch. It's Guerrilla's first project since Killzone. Bit of a change, isn't it, from gritty future FPS to gloriously beautiful ruin-porn adventure.

I'd sure like to go hands on with Horizon: Zero Dawn, or see some more previews of it, since I'm a bit fatigued by open worlds and crafting at the moment. But robo-saurs! Robo-saurs are highly compelling.
