Wondering which PS4 games will looks best on your 4K TV? Look no further.
These are the PS4 games best supported under PS4 Pro
Perhaps the best news alongside the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim announcements was that fact that all games would be cross-compatible each other. You can buy a single PS4 copy of Battlefield 1 and know it’s going to work on any PS4 system, even if you upgrade later on. Even multiplayer features will work across platforms, which is a nice perk.
With that in mind, some games will simply make better use of the Pro’s 4K technology. While those games still run perfectly fine on the classic PS4, you’ll need the Pro if you want to run them at their highest settings. Here are the titles Sony mentioned during the PlayStation Meeting which will have PS4 Pro support built-in:
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Watch Dogs 2
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Killing Floor 2
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (with day one patch)
- FIFA 17
- Battlefield 1
- Dishonored 2
- Mass Effect Andromeda
- For Honor
- Horizon Zero Dawn
You may have noticed several games on that list which launched before today’s PS4 Pro announcement. That’s because previously released PS4 titles can receive developer patches which take better advantage of the Pro’s capabilities. It’s not an issue for the average gamer – even a Pro system should run unpatched games just fine – but it’s a nice bonus for those spending the extra cash.
