Below, the long-waited Xbox One and PC exclusive from Capy Games, has been delayed indefinitely.

Capybara has released a statement on their site explaining the necessity of delaying the much-anticipated game.

“We told you BELOW would be out this summer”, the post reads. “Our team worked hard to make that deadline a reality. But after a strong push, we’ve decided it isn’t ready.”

The developers are “going dark” to work on the game, and don’t plan on emerging again until they can set a firm and definitive release date for their game. “Instead of giving you a new, loose release window, we will be going dark while we take the time that we need to complete BELOW without compromise”, they explain.

This means that the next time we hear about Below, we’ll hopefully have a confirmed, definitive release date. Whenever the game launches, it’ll be a timed exclusive on Xbox One and PC.
