No forgiveness, no retreat - this is Space Hulk: Deathwing's Battle Hymn of Vengeance

Space Hulk: Deathwing gets extremely dramatic in gamescom 2016 trailer.

Space Hulk: Deathwing has the distinction of being a Warhammer 40,000 game that doesn't insist on putting that in the game title, thereby blowing out headlines to even greater excesses.

This disposes me to think of it fondly, so I gaze upon Space Hulk: Deathwing's gamescom 2016 trailer with an appreciation for its dramatic overtones. Games Workshop doesn't really deserve the love of its fans, who clearly include develoepr Streum On Studio.

The trailer shows the Deathwing squad in a last stand against a swarm of Genestealers, taking strength from the stirring Battle Hymn of Vengeance (written by 40k author Gav Thorpe). If that doesn't want to make you play a co-op optional shooter with tactical elements set on Space Hulk Olethros, I don't know what will.

Update: Maybe this commentated gameplay footage?

Space Hulk: Deathwing boasts character customisation and a story co-written by Dark Angels writer Gavin Thorpe, apparently riddled with Easter Eggs for super fans. A PC exclusive, it has not yet been dated.
