Lots of Heroes of the Storm news today.
Heroes of the Storm players hustling to climb the ranks may be pleased to know the competitive season has been extended.
You now have until September 13 to finish up your campaign to dominate Heroes of the Storm Season 1, so get in there and jank some newbs, or whatever the heck it is you do in MOBAs.
But what will you do once the competitive season ends? Don’t worry, pals: a new event is coming to Heroes of the Storm. Called Machines of War, it marks the release of two new maps, Braxis Holdout and Warhead Junction; new heroes Alarak (with Master Alarak, Herald of N’Zoth Alarak skins) and Overwatch’s Zarya (with Master Zarya and Thunder Guard Zayra skins); Raider Rexxar, The Butcherlisk and Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan skins; and the enw Ghost speeder mount.
You can watch the opening cinematic for Heroes of the Storm: Machines of War above, or check out videos on the maps, heroes, skins and mounts below.
Heroes of the Storm: Machines of War has not yet been dated but is apparently coming soon. Maybe we’ll hear more from gamescom, as Blizzard is putting on a pretty big show for its enormous European fanbase.
