Destiny: Rise of Iron's new social space Felwinter Peak includes bells, wolves, Iron Banner hub and more

Everything we know about Destiny: Rise of Iron's new social space.

Destiny: Rise of Iron adds a new social space called Felwinter Peak, joining the Tower and the Reef as a location of off-duty Guardians to visit vendors, access their vaults, nag each other to join fireteams and bamboozle newbs by climbing to seemingly impossible locations.

In the video above, Destiny expert Arekkz goes over the latest intel drop from Game Informer, which gives us our first look at some screenshots of the new hub as well as providing loads of new information (pick up the latest issue to see the shots for yourself).

Felwinter Peak was the home of the Iron Lords, before the majority of them sacrificed themselves to seal away SIVA, the self-replicating technological plague responsible for the appearance of new Fallen faction the Splicers when Destiny: Rise of Iron releases in September. Players will need to clear the Splicers out of Felwinter Peak before they can enter the social space.

It looks like this mission is a one-time-only affair, which is a shame; we'd all love to see more action in Destiny's social spaces. However, once you get in there's plenty to see and do. Lord Saladin will move in, shifting the base of operations for Iron Banner, and new vendor Shiro will support the Archon's Forge PvE arena, for example.

There'll be less serious stuff too. Wolves roam the space, which is neat, and there are bells you can ring. Bungie has said it wants to see what players can do with the bells - playing tunes together, for example, but we're all wondering if the bells will mask one of Destiny's little secrets.
