For the would-be streamers out there who don't already know about XSplit.

XSplit, the well-known video recording and game streaming software, is now available on Steam.

The app's basic version costs nothing, with the Premium version requiring a $10 / £6.99 per month subscription.

This follows a major update released for XSplit earlier this month. Version 2.8 brought on a design upgrade to Gamecaster to add support for unlimited scenes, YouTube Gaming chat support, custom URI support, and more.

Developer SplitmediaLabs says the app receives 7,000 sign-ups per day, and over 200,000 new users every month. This number will surely grow now that XSplit is on the most popular platform on PC.
