With PlayStation VR launching in October, Sony is taking its headset on the road so folks can try it on for size.

Get your hands on PlayStation VR this weekend in select US cities

This weekend, June 17-18, PS VR demos will be held at 30 Best Buy and GameStop locations in the US.

Come June 24, there will be over 100 GameStop Stores in the US hosting demos, and 300 locations in total when factoring Best Buy. These demos will be available throughout Canada and the US. More information on locations can be found through here.

It's all part of Sony's "Road to Greatness" tour, and the stops offs this weekend take place in the following major US cities:

  • Baltimore, Maryland
  • Boston, Massachusetts
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Cleveland, Ohio
  • Columbia, South Carolina
  • Columbus, Ohio
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Detroit, Michigan
  • Fayetteville, Arkansas
  • Ft. Lauderdale, Flordia
  • Grand Rapids, Michigan
  • Hartford, Connecticut
  • Houston, Texas
  • Los Angeles, Califonia
  • Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • New York City, New York
  • San Francisco, California
  • Tampa, Florida
  • Toledo, Ohio
  • Washington DC
  • West Palm Beach, Florida

Attendees will be able to try out the following games: PlayStation VR Worlds, EVE: Valkyrie, Headmaster, Battlezone and SUPERHYPERCUBE.

More game demo opportunities will be added leading up to PS VR’s launch on October 13.
