Developed for consoles and PC by Cyanide Studio, the investigation title has RPG elements mixed with a psychological horror story and setting and stealth gameplay mechanics.

In Call of Cthulhu, Edward Pierce is investigating the death of Sarah Hawkins and her family on Darkwater Island.

The investigation will bring Pierce closer and closer to Cthulhu's sphere of influence. The ensuing madness will leave him questioning what is real, and what is an illusion.

Call of Cthulhu was announced back in January 2014 from developer Frogwares along with a set of concept art.

Back in February in was announced that Cyanide had taken over development of the Unreal Engine 4 title, and that it would release in 2017 on consoles and PC.
