Gearbox Software has added long-requested Rematch feature to Battleborn, and have solved the mystery of missing lore challenges rewards.

It was added as part of the weekly hotfix which is deployed on Thursdays.

With the new rematch feature, Battleborn players will no longer need to manually re-queue after each multiplayer match.

They will instead be kept in the queue with current teammates. The next match will auto-start, which means players will no longer have to re-select their preferred game mode and then hop back in line.

Gearbox said the new feature should make the matchmaking process much smoother.

Rematch is available in all PvP modes, and players will notice a 20 second timer has been added to the top-right of the screen. Don;t want to play another match? Just back out within the time allotted.

This should be plenty of time for teams to find another to join should one not be up for another round.

If the party leader backs out, as before, the team will be disbanded and removed from the queue.

Today's hotfix also increased the Max Health of S1.Chronicle in The Archive by 50%, and a visual issue with Thorn's level 10 Left Helix Augment, Wild Judgment, was fixed.

Finally, the development seems to have figured out why some players have yet to receive lore challenge rewards. Gearbox said that in some cased, it's caused by "dropping out of a Story mission and entering the Competitive Multiplayer queue," before the Story mission has ended.

The game may be unable to recognize when the challenge has been met due to the action taking place across multiple servers. Due to this, characters can still be "unlocked through Command Rank leveling," but lore challenges could still remain broken for the player.

The team is working on a fix which will retroactively award lore challenges to those affected by this issue. It will be added in a fix as soon as possible. So in the meantime, make sure you complete missions and matches in order to receive lore challenge rewards.
