See how Gears of War 4 multiplayer graphics have improved

Rod Fergusson has shared a small update on Gears of War 4 from developer The Coalition. The studio head took to twitter to show off two screenshots showing the same scene.

Both screenshots are from the game's multiplayer mode. One was taken during the beta while the other is more recent, from May 31, according to the tweet.

You can see both side-by-side below. Though the resolution is far from adequate, there's definitely a noticeable improvement in lighting and what appears to be better texture quality. The map itself has also seen an overall detail increase, as you tell from the surroundings.

Gears of War 4 is out October 11. The game is also going to be among Microsoft's biggest titles for E3 next week.
