Activision has announced it will host a second Call of Duty XP event this September, and tickets go on sale this Saturday.

Call of Duty XP event coming in September with Infinite Warfare VR experience

Along with tons of fun things to do, attendees will be able to get their hands on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer, and witness the world-premiere of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer. There will be over 500 gameplay stations set up so everyone gets a chance at playing. There will also be 6v6 matches for fans, with prizes on offer.

Fans will also be able to try out Infinite Warfare's multiplayer and Infinity Ward's new cooperative zombies mode and new downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The event will also host a PlayStation VR Experience which will provide attendees the opportunity to pilot a Jackal, which is the fighter jet in Infinite Warfare

On top of that, there will be $2 Million in prizes offered at Call of Duty World League Championship. It's the culmination of the inaugural season where 32 of the top teams worldwide will compete for part of the CWL's 2016 prize pool which tops $3.5 million.

Both prizes are the largest in Call of Duty history and Major League Gaming is the official tournament operator and is presented by PlayStation 4.

Along with the aforementioned, other activities include the following:

  • Dedicated Call of Duty developer panels and Q&As from Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games.
  • Onsite Call of Duty armory and franchise museum.
  • Call of Duty photo booths and experiential activities.
  • A paintball battle on a life-sized Call of Duty: Black Ops Nuketown multiplayer map.
  • Laser tag experience inspired by Infinite Warfare's new zombies game mode.
  • Surprise musical guest.
  • More attractions to be announced at a later date.

Tickets for Call of Duty XP go on sale this Saturday, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BT June 11 and are available in three price levels:

  • Enlisted Ticket: $49 - General Admission seating for three days of the Call of Duty World League Championship, Presented by PlayStation 4 and access to Call of Duty XP gameplay and activities.
  • Veteran Ticket: $129 - General Admission seating for three days of the Call of Duty World League Championship, Presented by PlayStation 4, access to Call of Duty XP gameplay and activities, the $80 digital Legacy edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and a Care Package with exclusive Call of Duty XP swag.
  • Prestige Ticket: $199 - Scheduled activities and gameplay, VIP line for activities and gameplay, Player Meet and Greets, access to the VIP lounge, parking pass, premium seating for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer reveal and Call of Duty World League Championship, Presented by PlayStation 4, a $100 Digital Deluxe version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and a Care Package with exclusive Call of Duty XP swag.

All ticket levels will include bonus digital content for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which include a calling card and weapon camo for each game.

Call of Duty XP 2016 takes place September 2-4.

The first Call of Duty XP event took place in September 2011, and musical guests were Dropkick Murphys who kicked off the event, and Kanye West closed things out.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the main release that year, and everyone who attended walked home with a digital copy of the Hardened Edition.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases on November 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
