Destiny's unlimited rocket glitch cancels next Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris events

Destiny players have discovered a glitch/bug in the game that allows them unlimited access to heavy ammo.

This of course allows those who use it to have an unlimited supply of rockets, or heavy machine gun bullets. PvP in particular has the worst of it, and this means events like Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris will be imbalanced.

Which is why Bungie has elected to cancel this weekend's Trials, as well as put the next Iron Banner on hold, until a fix has been identified. The developer revealed this in the latest weekly update, but didn't say when we should see the bug fixed.

Bungie also confirmed it won't ban those who exploited the bug, but that "some restrictions" will be imposed on players who "compromise the overall experience – either willingly or unwillingly."
