EA and Coldwood Interactive extend publishing deal for Unravel sequel

The publisher announced today during its annual Investors Day, it had extended its partnership with Unravel development studio Coldwodd Interactive.

"It’s been quite incredible to see the community’s love for Yarny, both in the game and beyond," said EA EVP Patrick Söderlund in an announcement.

"At EA, we love working with creative and passionate development teams, in our own studios and our partners. Which is why I’m very pleased to announce that we’ve signed a new agreement with Coldwood to work with them on their next project."

A company spokesperson confirmed to Polygon this "next project" is a sequel to Unravel.

EA didn't have further details to share, but said it would provide "more when the time is right." Maybe E3, then.
