Uncharted 4 reviews - all the scores

Surviving more than a few delays and even losing a few copies to theft, Uncharted 4 is finally ready for public consumption. But before that, reviews must first set the stage for next week's launch.

Uncharted 4 is directed by The Last of Us directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, having took the reins following the departure of Amy Hennig, the series' former creative lead. Developer Naughty Dog repeatedly said the game will be the final chapter in protagonist Nathan Drake's story.

The game will also be the first in the series to have a post-launch single-player add-on, of which we know nothing about.

In terms of gameplay, Uncharted 4's design will be more liberating, offering more open levels where vehicle use and exploration are encouraged. You can expect a 1080p resolution and 30fps for single-player and 900p/ 60fps for multiplayer.

Naughty Dog is also betting heavily on multiplayer this time around, with a fair number of modes, maps, and new mechanic in the Relics power-ups. Post-launch content will be free, too, with cosmetics to be available for sale through microtransactions.

See the reviews below. As always, scores are out of ten unless otherwise noted.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is out May 10 on PlayStation 4. You'll need to download a 5GB day one patch.
