Technically, it's eight seconds long if you factor in the reveal reminder at the very end.

The developer will host the world premiere of the next game in the franchise 4pm ET/9pm BST.

Just in case you can't see the clip embedded below, it was posted on the official Battlefield Twitter account.

Current rumors state the game is a multiplayer tactical shooter set during World War I.

Back in January, EA confirmed Battlefield 5 was slated for a holiday 2016 release and previous comments from the firm said it would be “a return to a Battlefield military-style game.”

To celebrate the impending announcement, EA has made Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline DLC free on Origin, PlayStation and Xbox consoles through May 10. The DLC consists of Dragon’s Teeth and Robbery, respectively.

Over the next few months, previously released expansion packs for both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline will given to players, and new Community Missions will also be made available.
