Ahead of a full release in the future, a beta for Hyper Light Drifter’s co-op mode has been made available.
Hyper Light Drifter local co-op beta available now
Hyper Light Drifter developer Heart Machine has released a beta build of the game that supports local co-op.
Being one of the initially planned features that didn’t make it in time for launch, the studio felt it was worthwhile to go back and add it.
The beta is available now for Windows only, and will run until 1m ESt on Monday, May 2. To download it, just head over to your Steam library, click on the game and opt in the build called “coop” under the betas tab.
Heart Machine will take all feedback on board before releasing the feature to the masses, though a release date was not provided.
