Why you should check out Tales from the Borderlands

Tales from the Borderlands is a Telltale adventure series set in Gearbox's universe. When it was announced there was a great deal of sneering from those who don't like Borderlands and (probably justifiably) consider it light on story, but Telltale snapped cleanly onto some of Gearbox's dangling story hooks and abseiled smoothly to glory.

The series has been complete since October 2015 but if you're yet to pick it up there's a pretty good excuse this week thanks to a spanking new physical release. In North America the series is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, while PAL territories can grab it on PS4 and Xbox One.

The launch trailer below gives a little bit of insight into why you might wanna check out Tales from the Borderlands, showing off some of the characters and setting up one of the early storylines before breaking into a montage of high-octane scenes. To be honest I think it undersells just how good this season is; Tales from the Borderlands is one of the best games TellTale has ever made.
