Mojang releases free, causal strategy game Crown and Council on Steam

Crown and Council was developed during one of the studio's game jams by company artist Henrik Pettersson.

Players are tasked with conquering lands rules by rival monarchs. Just click adjacent land tiles to send your troops out and the earned gold will fund further takes overs.

The gold earned from invasions will come in handy when building defensive forts, launching naval attacks, building universities and more.

Game time can last as long as the player wishes, as there are no time constraints.

It's getting mixed reviews by Steam users at the moment, but it's a free game, so if you don't like it your wallet won't suffer.
