The Bethesda title beat out other Best Game nominees The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Life is Strange and Rocket League.

Still, some of those who lost the category to Fallout 4 didn't walk home empty handed. Life is Strange took home an award for Best Story, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture took home three awards, and Rocket League won three as well.

Unfortunately, both The Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid 5 walked home empty handed despite being nominated in multiple categories.
