Oh happy day: Frontier Developments has released LostWinds and LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias on Steam.
If you are unfamiliar with the 2008 adventure-platformer, players take on the role of Toku, who uses the powers of the wind-spirit Enril to jump and glide through the game world. The goal in LostWinds is to lift a curse placed on the land of Mistralis by an evil spirit names Balasar.
Toku returns in 2009’s LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias where with help from the Spirit of Seasons and Enril’s new powers, he sets out to find his missing mother. During his quest, he will also try and dispel the eternal winter which has descended upon the land.
The PC versions of both games will offer updated controls, enhanced visual effects, Steam trading cards, badges and achievements.
LostWinds and LostWinds 2 launch today on Steam for $9.99/£6.99/€9.99. If you are interested in both games, LostWinds: The Blossom Edition includes each title and will run you $14.99/£10.99/€14.99, saving you $5 in the process.
