Brutal Doom creator working on Doom 64 mod

SGtMarkIV modder, who created Cacoward winner and Moddb 2012 MOTY Brutal Doom, is revamping Doom 64. This should make many, many people happy.

Early Alpha gameplay demonstrating the current state of the mod was released this week.

As you can see in the video above, work on basic features such as "gibs, lightning effects, and brightmaps" are only being shown for the time being. He promises an official trailer showing more enemies and weapons will be released soon.

It could be a while before you are able to play this as SGtMarkIV hasn't set a release date.
