The virtual reality version of Star Wars Battlefront will be exclusive to PlayStation VR, Sony announced at a GDC session today.

It's not clear whether the VR version will have identical content to the standard view release.

No further details were given, although Sony did say EA, DICE and Lucasfilm are collaborating on the project, which is in addition to Lucasfilm's other VR ventures.

The news accompanied the reveal of the PlayStation VR price and release window.
