Killer Instinct Season 3 release date set for the end of March

Microsoft and Iron Galaxy have announced a release date for Killer Instinct Season 3.

Season 3 will launch with four characters – Rash, Kim Wu, Arbiter, and Tusk with additional characters rolling out as the season progresses. Eight fighters in total will be included with Season 3, featuring both new, classic, and guest characters

Everything players already own through Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct Season 2 will carry over into Season 3 along Achievements in both versions. An FAQ for the Windows 10 version is through here.

The game can be played across Xbox One and Windows 10 devices using Xbox Live.

Xbox 360 fightsticks will work at Season 3 launch, with Xbox One fightstick support landing in a future Windows 10 update.

Killer Instinct Season 3 will launch on March 29 on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

Pricing details as well as information on pre-purchase options will be made available at a later date.
