Mortal Kombat X gets medieval with free skins pack

Mortal Kombat X players on PS4 and Xbox One will receive a free DLC pack on March 1, NetherRealm has announced.
It's a medieval themed costume pack, although Kotal Khan seems to be wearing some sort of Ancient Roman get-up. Then again, I'm not an expert in armour; any history buffs able to chime in on that one?
The pack will not be released for PC, which should come as no surprise; Warner Bros. has dropped support for the port, which is sort of insult to injury given it was pretty rubbish to begin with.
