Bravely Default, Last Story devs team up for new project

Silicon Studio and Mistwalker are collaborating on a project.

Bravely Default and 3D Dot Game Heroes developer Silicon Studio has teamed up with Mistwalker, the studio behind The Last Story, for a new project.

According to Gematsu's translation of the announcement, the new project will combine Mistwalker's imagination with Silicon Studio's technology and "long-term management power", in order to create something enjoyed by a global audience.

Very little else is known at this point, although a new setting is confirmed - so this probably won't be a sequel to an existing title. A piece of concept art (see below) was attached, although it's worth noting this was shown back in 2009.

It's not clear whether this new project has anything to do with the concept art Mistwalker boss Hironobu Sakaguchi showed off recently.
