The Division: today's mission is to kill as many named Elite Cleaners as possible

After a maintenance period overnight, The Division open beta is back up and players will notice some extra items have been added to their inventory.

Due to players killing a ton of Cleaners yesterday - 275 million to be exact - everyone has been handed a fire kit filled with 3x Incendiary Bullet, 3x Explosive bullet and 3x Frag grenades.

One player, sK Hazardz, took it upon himself to rid the area of 336 Cleaners. A "unique reward" will be handed to the player for the effort. Another player, Hype x Sanity, took out 72 of Cleaners using only a shotgun. Nice.

Today, Ubisoft has given players a new objective in the beta: kill as many of the named Elite Cleaners in the Dark Zone as possible. The fire kit received today should help matters.

Multiple Cleaner leaders have invaded the Dark Zone and have been spotted around landmarks and other areas. Players can expect a tougher fight with multiple enemies due to Cleaners traveling in various sized groups.

Group efforts will award each agent with a gift, and the agent who kills the most elite Cleaners will receive a special reward.

Speaking of groups, you can find other players to help you complete today's challenge if you head over to The100.io.

The open beta for The Division is live on all platforms and goes offline Sunday, February 21.

The game will see a full release on March 8.
