Warren Spector to lead the team developing System Shock 3

System Shock 3 developer OtherSide Entertainment has announced Warren Spector is joining the team.

Spector's resume spans producer, designer, and director for games such as the original System Shock, Deus Ex, Disney Epic Mickey and the Ultima series.

Currently heading up the Denuis-Sam Gaming Academy post-baccalaureate program at UT Austin, the developer has been working with OtherSide since its inception as a creative adviser. Once the current semester at UT Austin ends, he will transition into a full-time position as one of the studio's directors.

Spector will also work in a creative capacity on the successor to the Ultima Underworld series, Underworld Ascendant, and lead the team developing System Shock 3.

A teaser site for the latest System Shock was launched in December and it still hasn't revealed much.
