Pokemon Super Mario Maker costumes are too good for this unworthy world
A Pokemon-themed Super Mario Maker update is more than we low sinners deserve.
Watch this Super Mario Maker trailer. Observe the part where Mario runs into a mushroom and turns into Bulbasaur. The Bulbasaur goes tripping along on its little feet, climbing vines and hopping and bopping about like the best thing that has ever existed.
Then at like 0:28 it turns into a Squirtle or some other bullshit Pokemon who isn't Bulbasaur and I stopped watching. I guess Charmander happens at some stage. Who cares? As soon as Bulbasaur vanished all the troubles of this horrid plane of existence came rolling back over me and I felt only darkness, sadness and an aching sense of humanity's unworthiness to receive the perfection that is Bulbasaur costumes in Super Mario Maker.
I made someone else watch to the end and they told me you can unlock these costumes by completing the new Event Course. Cool.
