Black Desert Online name reservations start soon, Beauty portion of contest kicks off

Here's couple of Black Desert Online tidbits for you this morning: the Beauty portion of the Beauty and The Beast contest is live, and you can now reserve your character name when you pre-order.

You have from today through February 15 to submit your character creation. Prizes range from t-shirts to pearls, which is the currency used in the MMO's shop.

There are first, second, and third place prizes, and just for participating you'll be handed a Karlstein Costume to wear for seven days. The costume expires after that, and is only available at launch. You will also net an in-game title.

Name reservations will open Tuesday, February 9 to all pre-order customers. If you've yet to pre-order, you have until February 26 to reserve your name and grab some pre-order goodies such as head start access.

Pre-purchasing the Conqueror's or Explorer’s package will automatically grant you beta access, so a beta key isn't needed. A second closed beta is scheduled for February 18-22. The client can be downloaded from February 16.
