Each of Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir's playable characters has a reason for setting out on the epic quest familiar to fans of the Vanillaware classic.
As well as highlighting these motivations, the trailer below explains how the game differs from the original in the Refined version. You can always opt for Classic mode if you'd rather just play the original game with fancier graphics.
