Fallout 4 mod spotlight: Nuclear Weather

Fallout 4 needs more fallout, in my opinion.

Some Fallout 4 mods significantly alter gameplay. Others introduce amusing changes that make light of or ignore the game's lore in favour of a few chuckles. Many simply enhance visuals for those who just can't handle the muted colours on the covers of magazines.

Then you have mods like Nuclear Weather by Densaleagion, which manage to be faithful to the spirit of the game, entirely cosmetic and balance-respectful - and yet somehow profoundly affect your experience.

The mod adds six beautiful new storm types to Fallout 4. Where before you had only to fear the eerie glow of radiation storms, you'll now face the white-out of nuclear winter, beautiful but devastating firestorms, the gently licking tongues of ion storms and sick-looking downpours of acid rain. These arguably "natural" phenomena are joined by Institute mind storms and time rifts, which are a bit sillier.

Take a look at the video below; stills really don't do it justice. Dang! Time to start a fresh run. Again.
