Screenshots of Tan's game were posted on reddit last month, which impressed many on the Internet, including Hello Games boss Sean Murray.

In Way to the Woods, players take on the role of a deer and her fawn as they explore "a strange world filled with surreal imagery."

Tan is the founder of his company Studio Happy Bee and along with Way to the Woods, he has also provided 3D art for upcoming VR title Job Simulator.

A release date for the game hasn't been announced.
