The upcoming patch for ARK: Survival Evolved brings the promised split-screen support.

ARK: Survival Evolved developer Studio Wildcard promised to bring split-screen support to Xbox One just before the survival multiplayer game launched on the console.

The game's upcoming patch, version v731.0, will be the one to add the feature. Wildcard revealed the single patch note through the game's forums, and promised to release more details later.

The developer did say it will support both online and local split-screen.

The Xbox One port recently came under fire after Digital Foundry panned the game's performance, though it remains a popular title on Microsoft's console nonetheless.
