Mike Tyson will be an unlockable fighter in EA Sports UFC 2, but those who pre-order will get instant access to the boxer day one.
According to EA, he has the “strongest punching power of any fighter in the game” and will fight across light heavyweight and heavyweight classes.
Two versions of Tyson are coming to the game: “Iron” Mike Tyson based on the height of his boxing years in the 80s and “Legacy” Mike Tyson developed with the end of his career in mind.
Fans who pre-order the standard edition UFC 2 will get day-one access to the Iron version of Tyson, and those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will receive both versions day-one.
Other pre-order, day-one access fighters include Pancrase, Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba.
Those who opt not to pre-order will be able to unlock Tyson by progressing in the game and making it to the Hall of Fame in Career Mode.
EA Sports UFC 2 will be releases on March 15 in North America and March 17 worldwide on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
