The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD makes some changes to the original

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is not a 1:1 recreation of the GameCube classic.

A new The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD preview graced the pages of Famitsu this week, and while it was painfully short on details, there were plenty of screenshots.

The screens suggest that Nintendo is making changes to the original. One shows Lanayru Province, with the UI indicating there are 12 Tears of Light to collect rather than 16.

I don't know enough about The Legend of Zelda to understand why this a big deal, but NintendoEverything calls it "interesting and noteworthy", so there you go. It's certainly interesting that collectibles are being removed rather than added - but of course, the screens may not be indicative of the the final build.

More importantly, if one thing can change, so can others. What might we expect when The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is coming to Wii U on March 4?
