MLB The Show 16 will be released in March on PS4, PS3
A release date for MLB The Show 16 was announced during Sony's PlayStation Experience today.
Along with the release date, ShowTime was also detailed. It's a feature players can use to "slow down critical moments for maximum control."
The Road to the Show experience, on PS4 only, will also be more personalized and features a revamped training system. This allows players to unlock Gameplay Perks as they work their was through the mode. It has also been streamlined and has a "new paradigm" for base-running and fielding opportunities.
New to the franchise is the ability to play the entire series of Road To The Show games without having to navigate the main menu between games.
PS4 pre-orders for MLB The Show 16 are now live and those who drop the cash early will receive 10 bonus standard-item packs and a MLB The Show Player Rep Rookie Card.
Pre-ordering at GameStop or EB Games provide and additional five bonus item packs. Pre-order through the PS Store and players will receive three exclusive MLB The Show-themed PS4 Avatars in addition to the 10 item packs and Rookie Card.
