Take another look at Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade's alpha

Remember Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade? No, me either. But here it is!

It's been over 18 months since we last checked in with Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, but a new gameplay trailer has reminded us it definitely exists.

What you'll see below is footage from the Promethium map, which is available now in the online shooter's closed alpha; you'll need to buy in via a Founder's Pack to participate.

According to the video blurb, Eternal Crusade features territorial conquest through faction campaigns, character customisation and progression, customised weapon and modification loadouts and guilds. You'll eventually be able to choose between Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks and Eldar, while Tyranids appear as enemies in co-op PvE.
