Release date announced for martial arts MMO Blade & Soul

A release date for the MMO Blade & Soul has been announced for North America and Europe.

The title will be fully localized English, French, and German and features seven classes.

It is based on ancient mythologies, and characters will perform various martial arts moves as they "seek revenge" in the storyline.

Founder’s Packs will continue to be sold until Head Start early-access Founder’s Pack owners begins on January 15.

Those who have purchased the higher tier Disciple or Master Founder’s Pack will also be able to reserve names for their character ahead of time starting January 11.

At launch, Blade & Soul will have a max level of 45, with access to the 1v1 Arena, and two dungeons: Blackram Supply Chain, and E. Fleet Supply Chain.

Regular content updates and patches are planned and in-progress.

Blade & Soul will be released on January 19. It firt launched in Asia during mid-2012 and has tens of millions of players across South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan.
