Gold Mega Man Amiibo launching alongside Legacy Collection 3DS

Mega Man Legacy Collection 3DS has a special feature to make up for the wait.

A Gold Mega Man Amiibo will launch alongside the Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS on February 23 2016. It will be made available in a collector's edition package.

This is some consolation for Nintendo fans who have been patiently awaiting the bundle title's release, but the 3DS version will also have 11 special challenge stages which are only accessible using the original or Gold Mega Man Amiibo figurines.

It's fitting that Nintendo fans get a bit of an extra, given that Mega Man Legacy Collection bundles the six NES releases. There's also a bunch of extras and goodies in there, on all platforms.
