Skylanders Academy will be an animated TV series based on the game franchise and it is currently in production under the supervision of Eric Rogers who was a script writer and writers assistant for various television shows such as Futurama, Lie to Me, NYPD Blue and Brickleberry.

The show will feature the voice talents of voices of Justin Long as Spyro, Ashley Tisdale as Stealth Elf, Jonathan Banks, Mike on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul as Eruptor and Norm Macdonald as Glumshanks.

Development of cinematic entries based on the Call of Duty franchise are also on tap, and will include both feature films and the possibility of television adaptations.

Disney veteran Nick van Dyk was named as co-president of the newly formed Activision Blizzard Studios, and the new film and television studio will be "devoted to original content" based on the company's "extensive library of iconic and globally-recognized intellectual properties."
