Nexon is going to produce mobile games for iOS and Android based on Titanfall. The free-to-play publisher has inked a deal with developer Respawn Entertainment for what it calls a "multi-game, multi-year" partnership.

The new games will be designed for smartphones and tablets and will developed by Particle City, a new studio co-founded by Respawn's CEO and co-founder Vince Zampella.

"Nexon's unrivaled publishing network and free-to-play expertise will allow Titanfall to reach new global audiences," said Zampella. "And with Particle City, we are closely collaborating to create all-new standalone games with original gameplay experiences that expand the Titanfall universe to players everywhere."

Nothing was revealed as to what kind of games this new deal will produce, but we do know the first of which is coming in 2016.

Nexon is major publisher of free-to-play games. The giant is publishing Cliff Bleszinski's Lawbreakers, Splash Damage's Dirty Bomb and many others. This is also not the first time Nexon worked with Respawn, the publisher is bringing Titanfall to Asia, also as a free-to-play title.
