Batman: Arkham Knight re-releases on PC this week

Batman: Arkham Knight has a release date. Again!

The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight will go back on sale on Steam on October 28, Warner Bros. has announced. No word yet on when it will return to retailers.

If you'd like to set a countdown timer, the exact Steam release time is 10:00am PT.

A patch will launch alongside the re-release bringing the PC version up to date with all the new content and features found in the console versions - Photo Mode, Big Head Mode, Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman Skin, and character selection in combat AR challenges.

If you bought the season pass, you'll find all the content released so far waiting for you, too. A full list of what will be available can be found in this Steam Community post.

In case you missed all the drama, the PC port of Arkham Knight was an awful mess. Warner Bros. yanked it from sale and brought in Rocksteady and Nvidia to fix it.

On the bright side, Warner Bros. has said it will change its internal review process so this sort of thing will stop happening (see: Mortal Kombat X).
