Microsoft's official Wireless Adapter for Windows is now available, allowing you to easily get your Xbox One controller working with your PC.

The adapter has an RRP of $25 and is also available bundled with a controller for $80. The platform holder began shipping today, so depending on your territory and where you'd like to purchase the dongle it may be a few days to a few weeks before it's in stock. The Microsoft Store is already good to go, of course.

It actually sounds like a pretty cool bit of tech, beyond the convenience of going cable-free; it supports up to eight controllers at once, and all the chat and audio functions you'd expect on Xbox One.

Microsoft points out you can use it with Windows 10 streaming, if for some reason you really need to play your Xbox One games on your PC in the same house.
