GALAK-Z comes to PC next week with new mode to make things easier

GALAK-Z is heading to PC very soon.

17-bit has announced the release date of the PC version of GALAK-Z. The roguelike space shooter comes out October 29 on Steam.

This isn't a regular PC port either. According to the store page, the PC version will come with a new mode called Arcade. Arcade mode offers checkpoints mid-mission, so you can retry as many times as you want without losing everything you have.

The game's campaign is divided into seasons, with a few missions in each one. Losing a mission means you lose all your progress and have to start over, which proved frustrating for many. Arcade mode looks to be the solution to that problem. If you still like a challenge though, you can play it in Rogue mode, which retains all of its roguelike qualities.

The mobile version is still on track for a 2016 release.
