Kick Off football simulation series returns after 25 years

Dino Dini’s classic football simulation game Kick Off is returning after being absent for 25 years.

Dino Dini’s Kick Off Revival is a new installment in the series and it will be made available exclusively on PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016.

According to Dino Dini, Sony's director of strategic content Shahid Ahmad sent him a PS Vita development kit which led to Sony offering to help him "get the game made."

Those familiar with the previous games will note than much "will not change," as the ball is "not stuck to your feet" and players can "shoot the way they want with the ball 100% under their control.

The game is going to be in 3D and while alternate camera views may be added, the "default view will be the classic top-down approach" of Kick Off 2 and GOAL!.
