Infusion Calculator is a handy Destiny app players really need to check out

Those who get overwhelmed over Destiny: The Taken King's infusion process, or are loath to destroy items for infusion, should have a look at this nifty fan-created app.

It's a calculator ad it has been implemented into the fan-created Destiny Item Manager. If you are unfamiliar with the latter, it shows players a full page view of all of their items and contains a user friendly drag and drop functionality.

The DIM allows players to move items from character to character and get a look at possible set loadouts. The latest addition to it is the Infusion Calculator.

What the Infusion Calculator does is detect all items which can be infused into which ever item the player selects.

Users only need to tap the item they want to infuse and the calculator will provide the approximated level. This will help players "determine the upgrade path" when deciding how to implement the infusion in-game and whether or not they wish to give up a particular item for infusion.

As noted on reddit, the calculator "only shows possible infusible items on the character the calculator was opened on." However, an update currently in the works will provide all "possible items across all characters and the vault."

The calculator was created by reddit community member Luke_fx and everything you need to know about it and the DIM can be found through its Destiny subreddit page.

The DIM is a Chrome Extension, so you will need to download it through the webstore.
