If you’re part of the Rainbow Six: Siege closed beta, you may have more difficulty starting a match than expected.

According to a news post on the official Rainbow Six: Siege page, right now players “have about a 60% chance to start a match successfully”.

The average waiting time for a match right now is 60 seconds.

If you’ve just played a match, you’ll automatically be queued for another match. At this point, the matchmaking success rate is “10% to 20% lower”.

A few other potential issues are listed:

  • When trying to join a match as a full party, the percentage of success rate is lower than when joining a match as a single individual.
  • You might be faced with different error messages (error 50 being a recurrent one). We are currently investigating the nature and how to fix these errors.

Judging by the comments on the post, many customers who preordered the game are still waiting to receive the beta codes they have been promised.

The beta has only just started, and offers three maps and two modes. It will run until Monday, September 28th.
